Hi my name is Cody and I am a diabetic so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to what you can and can't eat! I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes almost 10 years ago and oh boy it really hit me hard. I had been feeling unwell for about 4 years prior to the diagnosis but because I was only 26yrs old I just shrugged it off and carried on the best I could. When I hit 30yrs old my partner dragged me to the doctors, he wasn't surprised when I tested positive for diabetes, WHY? I was morbidly obese! He put me on the scales and my weight came in at 386lbs. That was the day my life changed forever, it had to otherwise I would have died. Fast forward 10yrs and I now weigh 173lbs which is still overweight for my height but I feel great which is the main thing.
